I’ve taken a while to post this for a few reasons. We spent New Years on Bourbon Street, New Orleans, where my son missed the terror attack by minutes, and my cousin unfortunately was in the middle of it. ![]()

Events like these change your perspective, and it just so happened to be at the start of the year where resolutions and new commitments are on the front of your mind. ![]()

So here is my commitment to 2025 and life going forward - be present, stay in the moment, deny fear and say “yes” to opportunities. This means that in the last week, I’ve been iceskating for the first time (feel free to laugh at the video as much as I have 😂), I’ve stood in the snow and just enjoyed it, I’ve been mindful in nature (even though it was freezing ❄️) and I have cherished every single minute of the time I’m spending with my family … no matter how small they are. ![]()
