We consider ourselves to be quite unique at Nicole Weir Physiotherapy. Two of our therapists have completed their post graduate training in Continence and Women's Health Physiotherapy, and between the three of us, we boast over forty years clinical experience in women's health. With this level of advanced training and experience we are very confident of the quality of care you will receive.
In the area of fitness, our level of tertiary training sets us apart. Physiotherapists are highly trained health professionals so are aware of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory changes your body undergoes and have a solid understanding of the medical considerations of pregnancy and the ideal way to rehabilitate yourself safely and effectively in the postnatal period. Your pelvic floor is always our priority when exercising in this stage of your life and all our classes ensure complete pelvic floor safety. This makes us unique to all other fitness classes.

We are all mothers of young families and understand the challenges that motherhood can pose and the difficulty in prioritizing your needs. We know mothers are the most important role models for your children and you can influence the long term health of your child by the example you set. Our uniquely structured classes have been carefully designed with this in mind and we are very mindful of this with consultations and the prescription of home exercise programs. This is all in place to support you in reaching your goals.

Nicole Weir

Nicole is a continence and women's health physiotherapist having graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor in Science degree in Physiotherapy in 1998 and completed her Graduate Certificate in Continence and Women’s Health in 2010. Nicole has a wealth of experience in women's health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with nearly twenty years clinical experience in this area. Nicole opened her practice in 2003 where she offers complete care for women in their childbearing years and prides herself with the honesty and integrity that she runs her business with.
Nicole’s desire to work in Continence and Women’s health was ignited by a desire to make a difference in women’s lives. She has always been passionate about her field, and being a mother of two children herself, she understands the need for the services she offers and enjoys being able to bring them to her cliental with professionalism, a holistic approach and a child-friendly mind.She genuinely cares about her clients and their families and feels privileged to have been a part of so many women and children's lives.

We allow mothers and mothers to be to prioritise their health and well being by providing easily accessible women’s health physiotherapy treatment, education and pelvic floor safe fitness classes for women in the childbearing years. We carefully design our services to ensure the needs of mothers and their children are at the forefront of our minds. Nicole Weir

Nicole has worked in private practice as well as obstetrics and gynaecology at Joondalup Private and St John of God Subiaco and has been at Glengarry Private Hospital since 2000. Nicole genuinely cares about each and everyone of her clients and feels blessed to be a part of this stage of their lives.

Julia McShane

Julia comes to us from King Edward hospital where she holds a Senior Continence and Women’s Health physiotherapist role. She is a clinical supervisor at Curtin University and is a unit co-ordinator for the Continence and Women’s Health post graduate clinical program. Julia has a passion for empowering women through educating and assisting them in the antenatal and postnatal period

Natasha DiGiovanni

Natasha has over 15 years of experience in antenatal education and antenatal and postnatal fitness at Joondalup Private Hospital. Natasha is devoted to women receiving the correct information and proper modifications for exercise in their childbearing years.
